A Culinary Experience at Nourish Eatery, VIDA Cayman
Global Flavours, No Passport Required.
There’s something grounding about food made with your own two hands—especially when the ingredients are local, the instructors have charisma, and the view is as nourishing as the final plates you get to share amongst others in community.
At VIDA Cayman, Nourish Eatery isn’t just about what’s on your plate—it’s about where it comes from, how it’s prepared, and the energy you bring into the kitchen. Their hands-on cooking classes are the perfect fusion of island flavour, community connection, and intentional living.
Curated by award-winning Chef Maureen Cubbon (or “Chef Mo” as she’s affectionately known), each class is a chance to slow down and reconnect—with food, with others, and with yourself.
Each session is led by a rotating crew of professional chefs—folks who’ve worked in top-tier kitchens and now get to slow it down, vibe out with you, and share a few pro tips on cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavour-building. You’ll laugh, learn, and leave with a few tricks up your sleeve (and maybe a new friend or two).
And if you like your meals with a little global flair, you’re in for a treat—each class celebrates a different cuisine (Indian, Mediterranean, Japanese, Spanish, Caribbean, French, Chinese, Vegetarian...)
Here’s what to expect:
Time: 6–8 PM
Cost: 125 KYD per person
Includes: A welcome drink, 2-hour hands-on cooking class, 3-course meal, wine throughout the evening
Over the course of two hours, you’ll prepare a couple of dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients while learning techniques that make home cooking feel both elevated and accessible.
These classes aren’t about perfection. They’re about participation. You’ll sip wine, swap stories, and leave with a little more confidence in the kitchen—and a deeper appreciation for the land and sea that feed us.
Whether you're a seasoned foodie or someone just looking for a fun way to spend an evening, this is food curation with soul. A space where sustainability, community, and heritage come together in the most delicious way.
Space is limited, but the impact isn’t. Reserve your spot. Bring your curiosity. Come hungry—for good food and good vibes.
Because at VIDA, the most nourishing experiences are the ones that feed more than just your appetite.
